Your path to PEACE begins here.

Do everyday tasks feel harder than they seem like they should? Do you feel overwhelmed by responsibilities, communication, sensory input, or the pressure to keep up? Have you spent years masking, questioning yourself, or feeling misunderstood? Are you ready to better understand your brain and find strategies that actually work for you?

If so, you’re in the right place.

A note from Alexa

Hi there! My name is Alexa and I’m so glad you’re here. Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, so I hope you’re proud of yourself for taking this first step.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in supporting neurodivergent adolescents and adults, as well as couples and families. My approach is warm, collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming, and culturally responsive. I am especially committed to creating a supportive space for people from marginalized communities to feel understood and fully themselves.

Together, we will explore what genuinely works for you, from practical tools and personalized strategies to a deeper understanding of your patterns and needs. My goal is not to change who you are, but to help make life feel a little less hard and more aligned with who you are.

I value genuine connection and often use humor and lightness to make difficult conversations feel more approachable. I would feel grateful for the opportunity to support you and work together.

Warmly,
Alexa McBride, MA, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #160039
